Chairman Mooj kasheer welfare trust hailed doctors on the occasion of National Doctors’ Day today. Members across the spectrum sent their greetings to all members of the medical fraternity for rendering a great service to the nation.
The National Doctors’ Day is observed on July 1 every year to commemorate the life and times of legendary doctor and former West Bengal CM Bidhan Chandra Roy, whose birth and death anniversaries both fall on this day. Dr Roy was born on July 1, 1882, and died on July 1, 1962.
The day is celebrated all over the country to honour the contributions of the doctors. The first National Doctor’s day was observed in 1991.
On the occasion, chairman also sent his greetings to the medical.
