Srinagar,Nov 22 : Prominent Socio,Political Activist And Sr Trade Union Leader Mohammad Altaf Dar in a statement issued to press here said In view of the difficulty being faced by the students in reaching the schools due to the extreme foggy whether, cold wave & huge drop in temperature, School, college and university students, office goers, laborers and people belong to other walks of life facing problems due to fog and bone sizzling cold in the morning. Mohammad Altaf Dar said fog,chill is too much to handle for children. Moreover, there is no arrangement of heaters or blowers in classrooms, which get so cold and dark in such weather.”fear that in the coming days,might make things worse. “I see people driving ,childrens to school in thick fog.The visibility is so poor that they could not look across the street and traffic situation is at its worst. Considering the weather conditions,In foggy, chill days I shudder at the thought of sending their children’s out in such poor visibility,”education department should issue orders to keep schools short term closed.
